Just a quick heads up to let everyone know that the latest incarnation of MAKO is about ready to arrive. The big new feature of MAKO2 is the addition of testing capabilities. MAKO2 now features 3 onboard LEDs, its very own IR receiver plus a test fire button. These features make the testing of your MAKO install very easy and allow for the quick identification of where any issues may lie.

In the above pic you can see the white test fire button at bottom right. Above that is the IR receiver (IR1) and testing jumper (JP2). Above the voltage regulator (near the input) is a small green LED that will light when MAKO is correctly powered up. Next to the testing jumper (JP2) are two more LEDs. The blue LED will light with firing of the IR LED (no more looking through a digital camera) and the adjacent red LED is the standard indicator LED (hits and reload period).
The onboard IR receiver allows testing of IR reception of MAKO without having to attach a Heng Long mushroom. It also allows for IR programming of MAKO without connecting any other cables other than that for power.
Available for pre-order right now from the webstore (expected arrival 29 July)
Also now available for pre order, new Sirvoe and Geko boards
Cheers
