After a few requests the May Update release for Asp will include an option to toggle on or off the LED flashes that occur when reload is complete. This can be done in one of 3 ways.
1. The original IR Remote method
During the program period use your trusty Sony TV remote and press the Clock/Timer button. Doing so will toggle on or off the reload flashes and store your preference in EEPROM so that you only need to do this once.
2. The new Radio Edit mode
A section has been added to the Radio Edit mode for the IR battle system. After setting your magazine capacity you will be asked if you wish the reload flashes: yes or no. For yes it is +100% on CH3 (Main gun) for no it is -100% on CH3 (MG fire)
3. The even NEWER micro SD card cofiguration
Presently I am also working on an IR Battle logging system to document all of your IR battle stats. To do this I am employing the use of the OpenLog system. To make more use of the OpenLog board I have added in the option of putting all of your IR battle settings into a configuration file and uploading these settings to MAKO/ASP. The "irsetup" file contains a single line of settings in the following format
[3,3,5,1,110,1,6]
Whereby:
Vehicle type, Unit ID#1, Unit ID#1, Unit ID#1, Magazine, Reload flash, Eq Curve
The example above will give us
Heavy Battle Tank (3)
Unit ID: 351 (3,5,1)
Magazine of 110 rounds (110)
Reload flashes off (1)
Bass Eq curve (6)
Remember all of these methods employ the core concept of Asp in allowing the changing of settings without having to physically access switches on the board itself.
Hopefully some video will follow next.
Cheers
