I'm a newbie in the world of RC tanks and I'm hoping to obtain as much information on upgrade kits for my Tiger King. I've recently purchased a Tamiya 56004 king tiger. I would really like to upgrade this tank (currently unopened) with the following upgrades in the order of priority:

1. Sounds for the motor and the guns
2. Upgrade to as many metal parts - don't know where I can get these
3. Dual motor with gear reduction for more realistic drive
4. Recoil function for the main gun

Please bear in mind I'm a novice so will not be familiar with some of the acronyms used. Thanks for reading this post and I hope to hear from you all. Cheers.

just be carefull if you buy the HL metal tracks, will need the HL sprocket and idler as the Matorro metal version is slightly different in size.

and go for El Mod works a treat

It will be a slow rebuild, I go to bed early these days.
The outside looks good and I will be leaving it. Will be fitting metal wheels, tracks and either ELmod or SLU to start.

1 is the Heng Long Porsche turret version plastic tracks and all standard HL elec etc...
the other is a Matorro KT with Mato metal tracks, has mato 3/1 brass g/boxes and El Mod ECO
