Don't get me started on the "cone effect"... Thats another story.

To make it fair(ish) I'll mount the IR led close to horizontal such that the copter needs to be under 1 metre in height to hit a tank.

Interesting, MAKO on an AR Drone. I don't know what the "cone of effect" (not sure what to call it) is for IR shots, but I wonder if the tanks could elevate their guns enough for return fire. Maybe Flakpanzers will become a requirement to deal with you. The arms race has begun...

I've got a Bf-109 that would be roughly 1/16th scale. What's the chances of making a version to add some RC air support?

Possible new build
The mako3 would go well with the Carro Veloce L35/Lf Flamethrower Tankette, the early model towed a trailer (500Lt) full of flame fluid..now that would the Tank to have on battle days...No IR required..lol

Now that MAKO2 is out it is time to start work on MAKO3......
