Since they aren't much bigger than an asp board, maybe we can see the future with these mini pcs? Just wondering your thoughts. |

Although they are the same size as the Asp most of the surface area of Tank control boards is populated with connectors and the chips to drive the motors. For 1/16 probably the size is a factor BUT for 1/6 then definately. However and most important you need to remember the old adage " You are only as strong as your weakest link". Imagine trying to control all that is possible with the Pi and using a super cheap 6 ch radio. Lots of people will want to do this. Most new controllers (not just Asp) could really do with 12-16 channel control. The thought of introducing S-Bus the the general tank community is just not economically viable in the near future.
