@ Slowstartgjh (Graham) sorry I missed you. Your Eurgle is now safely inside and awaiting flashing.... Note to everyone - GET A LiPo for your 9X so that that darn battery cover will actually fit... @ Robert - I thought I sent you some eePe files, do you want them again? Also are you getting the ElMod Eco or Pro? Cheers |

Hi Steve Welcome to the forum. Should of told me earlier you wanted tankER9X. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can get all the bits required from the shop or by contacting me. It is not that hard a job to do yourself but if you are not confident RCTA will flash it for you and supply the USB programmer all for $30 plus postage to and from. All that is needed is the front half of the 9X. Unfortunately, this still weighs just over 500g so you are looking at another $15 for postage at least. Cheers Kevin G |

Hi Steve You need: Soldering Iron (& solder) 6 x bits of wire some shrink tube either a 6 pin or 10 pin male IDC header and the USB AVR programmer here There are six spots (small solder pads) on the main PCB of the 9X where you will have to solder the 6 wires. Not all that hard but they are small spots so you will need a iron with a fine tip. Here are the spots Image4.jpg The wires are then attached to your ISP header like so: AtmelAvrIsp.png This plan is as viewed from above with the pins coming out at you. The rest is all software... it's a amazing technology but to be honest it is not a great transmitter. I think we should really go with something more quality like a spectrum, futaba, hitec or jr. but in the end if your prepared to wait the 9x will do. |
