Part 5 - Diagnostic LCD Function
One of the great new features of MAKO2 is the ability to display your MAKO settings and battle statistics to a LCD screen. Simply connect the LCD to Output 1 on the MAKO and press 0 on your SONY TV remote.
At the end of your battle connect the LCD for your battle stats. However, please note that if you are destroyed in battle the info is reset and you will only have the data from the last reset.
Part 6 - Servo Recoil, Cannon Flash & Hammerhead Setup
A slightly longer video going through the connections for your servo recoil, cannon flash and hammerhead.

Part 7 - ATRC Connection (Track recoil blocking)
How to connect the ATRC function of MAKO2. This function transforms the horrible track recoil, hit shudders and death spasm of the Heng Long/Taigen tanks into a more realistic effect that won't destroy your gearboxes. For best effect you need to set your MAKO2 to the Taigen or Heng Long MFU depending on which you are using.
Part 8 - Bergepanzer (repair) function
A short demo of the repair function. This this case a light tank setting receives 2 hits before it is repaired. After repair the tank is effectively operating as though it has only received one hit. The following 3rd hit results in a ghost hit and the tank is not destroyed.

Hi Tony
The MAKO system connects up to the IR port only thereby it has no effect nor any control over the Asiatam recoil system which connects to the High tension port and the 8-pin hull connector. So if you have a working Asiatam recoil system then connecting the MAKO will not affect it as the two units do not interface (directly at least). In reality with the latest lot of HL/Taigen tanks the recoil unit actually controls the MAKO by providing the trigger for the IR shot.
As for the MAKO being used to control the Asiatam system then no. The Asitam recoil is best left being controlled by how it is normally controlled. There is no need for the MAKO to do it.
Can the MAKO control the speed and look of the Asiatam recoil? No, the Asiatam/Heng Long recoil units operate on the very basic motor on motor off and spring contstruction. There is no means for the precise control that is acheived by MAKO using even the cheapest servo.
Cheers KG

Forgive me, but I took from what you told me is that the asiatam will work through the Taigen brain with the Maco2 added but there is no way to plug it into the maco2 and make it work. Am I right?

HI Tony
Yes that is right. Just leave or install the Asistam recoil as is and let the Taigen or Heng Long MFU take care of it.
Cheers KG
