Originally with Heng Long electrics and TX you had to use a diode to force a trigger for the flash and IR to work. With the RC2HL installed and operating via switch on the Turnigy 9x does this "trigger" diode need to be used? |

No you don’t need the diode mod. When you push up with the left thumb stick that has same action as pushing the K button on the HL controller transmitter, so fires IR, activates the flash, get the sound and track recoil (if no ATRC fitted) Ian. |

I gather this means when using a servo recoil with an RC2HL and Mako the 2 pin (from the 5 + 2) trigger does not do anything |

Yes the 2 pin isn't required its not even installed on my tank. Ian |
