Hello there, Just a quick query - previously I had the Mako 2 running on my Tiger tank via a Taigen 2.4ghz RX. However since changing it back to an RX18 (for use with RC2HK) I'm noticing the Tank occasionally jerks backwards when firing it's main gun. Is this normal?
One possibility for this happening could be that when I ordered them of Kevin I might have stated they were going on a Taigen RX so the Mako's might have been preset to the Taigen RX. I've not changed the programming so if the wrong RX is selected on the Mako can this "leak" the recoil output?

Hi Steve,
Could it be the MAKO chip is programmed with JABB (Just A Bit Back) so you get a slight recoil from the tank as well a bit like some Tamiya tanks?
See this review I did last year on the MAKO & ATRC which has the JABB function.
If you go to second page you a few videos of it in action. Note the tank in the video has standard gearboxes, but since then I have fitted it in my HL Tiger with 3:1 gearboxes and it looks very realistic.
Ian.

It might be... Did not seem to do this on the Taigen RX. However I suppose when running on the Turnigy via the RC2HL there is some "inertia" so the sudden stop and reverse probably makes it look worse...Guess I'll stop first before firing!

Yeah I found I had to come to a stop before firing specially in my ZTZ99 with out low ratio gearboxes. Hence why it is in my tiger which would of stopped to fire in real life.
