As posted earlier the MAKO system (even though it always could) has been ported over to the Tamiya MF Units. The result is the MAKO4 Tamiya board: mako4_tamiya.jpg Now you can have all of the features of MAKO and the RCTA IR battle system added to your Tamiya tank with a simple plug and play install. MAKO2 retains ALL of the existing Tamiya IR battle functions and adds a whole range of new features. These new features include: • swap from the standard Tamiya IR signal to the Tamiya 2 shot kill signal with the press of a button. •enable Battle Unit Tactical Identification (BUTIN) •magazine capacity for true battlefield realism •connect to REMORA for battle stats updates and LiPo battery status •battle compatibility with Taigen & Heng Long tanks •fires RCTA machine gun and repair IR codes •repair ability (* 1 repair = 1 extra life) •recoil servo support •LED cannon flash option MAKO4 DOES NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE EXISTING TAMIYA IR BATTLE SYSTEM. IT ONLY ADDS MORE FUNCTIONS FOR MORE REALISTIC IR BATTLE. MAKO4 Tamiya is the perfect choice economically for tankers with a number of Taigen & Heng Long tanks yet only one or two Tamiya tanks. Rather than equip all of your Heng Long/Taigen tanks with MAKO2s simply install a MAKO4 Tamiya into your Tamiya tanks for IR battle compatibility across your tank division. Finally a video of the MAKO4 Tamiya connected up to the Sherman MU Even at 10 minutes long only the basic features can be shown. At some point I hope to show how the new machine gun IR can be used to take out Panzerfaust units. Cheers KG |
