Hello, I recently bought a HL Leopard 2A6 with the HL 2.4GHz transmitter. As I want to use my own transmitter and reciever, the RC5HL board catches my eye. The question is: Does the RC5HL work with the 2.4Ghz edition of the RX-18 or is it only usable to replace the 27MHz version? Excuse me for my bad english, I'm not a native speaker |

HI DonCappu Sorry the RC5HL works only with the RX18 27mHz and not the 2.4gHz board. An adapter was being made for the 2.4gHz board BUT there are several control issues with the new 2.4gHz board that actually makes the RC5HL/RX18 combination superior in performance. Add on a Viper for volume control and a relay to control the smoke unit and performance is better all round. Cheers Kevin G |
