Introducing the RC2HL Adapter. Break free from all the limitations of the old 27 mHz HL radio. If I was to name the biggest drawback of the Heng Long system it would have to be the toy radio that comes with it. With 2.4 gHz radios now available at the same cost of a replacement Heng Long trasmitter why would you not upgerade to 2.4 gHz. No more channel interference, no more limited range, no more oversized chunk of wire hanging off the back of your tank. |

Great news P-fish One transmitter for all my tanks So the new board replaces the old TK board (I think it's called TK with the aerial) That plug the 3 pin cable into Couple of questions for you Phyrephish does the receiver need a power supply or is that through the 3pin cable as well Does the Turnigy TX need the HL software?? (same as we have SGS, El Mod etc... On the firmware TX) Will it work on the other RX 13 & 14 boards... Sorry for all the questions. Cheers Gra PS. I wonder what's next on the innovation list |

@ Ace - The board will be available very very soon probably by the end of this week. The micro-controllers are on their way from Europe. Assuming that there has been no mistakes made elsewhere they will be on sale as soon as they have been tested. @ Gra - Firstly, I can't take the credit for this board they are being made by RCTA 'under licence' of sorts. I'll have more info available soon. But to answer your questions..... Yes, it replaces the TK board. No, you will not need a separate power supply as there is one one the RC2HL board itself. That big black component on the end of the board is a voltage regulator. Power is supplied from the RX18 via the 3 pin cable. Any 4 channel hobby grade radio setup can be used you do not need anything specific. Yes it should work with the earlier RX13 & 14 boards. Cheers Kevin G |

An update on the RC2HL: Hey All, Ok here is the latest on the RC2HL board ... it's HERE and AVAILABLE. A couple of untis have been sent or are on their way to a couple forum members for a bit of testing. The unit works with Spektrum, Futaba, Robbe & Jamara radios. However to date we have not been able to get the unit to work with any of the cheap HobbyKing radios (inc. the Turnigy 9X). Hopefully this is a simple software issue that can be fixed easily. Thus, for now if you would like to get a RC2HL unit only do so if you have one of the tried and tested brands (Spektrum, Futaba, Robbe, Jamara...). Alternatively, if there are any MBRCTC mambers out there with non-HobbyKing radios that would like to tryout the RC2HL then please let me know. The more brands of radio that the RC2HL can be tested on the better. RC2HL_2651_600.jpg Cheers Kevin G |
