A demo of Asp in 6 channel control mode. Here I am using a cheap HKT6A radio and receiver to run Asp. The radio does not have a throttle centering lever and Digital Radio was used to adjust the NOR/REV settings and assign the pots and switches. Of course you can run in 6 channel mode with an eight channel radio/receiver and thus free up ch7 & Ch8 for servo use. Depending upon your radio the number of functions accessible in 6 channel mode may be limited. For example in the case above since the radio does not physically have the switches one can only access volume control on CH6 and without CH7 only the Main cannon and a single machine gun can be fired. HOWEVER, if using a 9XRPro or Taranis there is enough switches and programming ability to access ALL of Asp's extra functions whilst in 6 channel mode. Cheers KG |

have you considered exporting settings that work best on the hk-t6a and making them available to us? Thanks |

Ok Here is the file used in the video exported from Digital Radio Asp.zip But please note. I simply don't have the resources to respond to any questions about the HK-T6A. This is a template or a guide - the HK-T6A does not have all the features to operate all of Asp's features in 6 Channel mode. If you do not fully understand your T6A or how to set switches to control channels then in reality the T6A may be easier to use in simple 4 channel mode. There are actually more Asp functions available in new 4 channel mode than in 6 channel mode on the T6A. Cheers KG |

it isnt that i dont know how, it is more laziness. i appreciate you doing that. ![]() I ordered a plus package before the programming cable came out. I don't see one in the store. How can I get one so I can update my asp to allow 6 channel operation? Thanks |

Appreciate the honesty ![]() Most early Asp were all sent out with a programmer as a freebie as the firmware was always going to be updated. All RCTA boards can be updated with a FTDI Basic Breakout type dongle which is a very common item and can be purchased off ebay for $3 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=ft ... t&_sacat=0 The drivers are so common plugging into your computer for the first time Windows will automatically find and install them Then all you need to do is use the utility below to put the FTDI board on COM port 5 Reassign COMNo Utility.rar Then install the following program to set up the FTDI to 'talk to" the RCTA boards FT_Prog_v2.8.2.0 Installer.zip Apply the template below to the FTDI board and makeup a cable and jobs done. TheWorkingCable.zip I do plan to put a video tutorial on this process up. The point is that you can readily and cheaply get a programming cable ($3). There is nothing special about them. However it would cost be $3 alone to post one out. If I do put up program dongles in the shop they would be over the $10 mark. Cheers KG |
