| Post subject: | Asp - Connect to the new Imex/Taigen/Asiatam Airsoft Recoil |
The new airsoft recoil unit from Imex/Taigen/Asiatam has been out for a while now. However, we don't have a unit here so I've not been able to shown it's connection to Asp. Asp has lots of outputs and even though this unit was release at or just after Asp's release I was sure that Asp would be able to handle it without any big issues. As it turns out the new Airsoft recoil system has it's own sirvoe type board that controls the recoil. Now I'd just like to point out that the RCTA sirvoe board has been out for ages and ...... Well nuff said. Now the sirvoe style board on the new airsoft recoil is triggered with a negative pulse. All this work has been done by Gary over in Detroit and kudos to him as I shall be posting his videos below. So to connect the airsoft recoil to Asp one only has the use the same trigger pin as for the motor style Imex/Taigen/Asiatam recoil unit as found in the IR tanks. So you don't need to go back to the video below shows the location for the negative and positive signal pulses sent when the airsoft cannon fires AirsoftRecoilSignalPins.jpg For Gary's problem solving, video making and saving me heaps of time an Asp will be heading his way via Santa Claus.
