Thanks Kevin, Where do we get the connection wires from ftdi to sirvoe? Does that come with the sirvoe or asp? Also, we need the sirvoe connected on the separate wires to V+ and V0, or that comes from the ftdi connection? |

Neither, you make them up yourself. Not that hard and there is a whole post on it. Cryptically named "RCTA Update Cable DIY" viewtopic.php?f=164&t=1050 Again the video will have me refer to eBay as a source for the FTDI breakouts - Stay away only get from a reputable source like Sparkfun in the US or Jaycar here in Oz. Thanks, I think I got a much clearer picture now. I was missing a big chunk of important info. So first I got to use FT-prog to invert the RX & TX on the FTDI board, and only after that I can use that board to reprogram the sirvoe with picaxe, right? |

Yes that is correct. The counterfeit chips from China will not allow you to invert the signal |
