| Post subject: | What exactly is the HL PzKpfW IV? |
I have two HL Panzer IV, they are similar but different. One has the rear deck of an Ausf. C the other of D-F. However neither has the stepped superstructure front plate with the projecting driver's compartment. The hull mounted machine guns on both HL tanks are the same and I believe the Ausf. A-C were different than the D-F. I am really wondering if HL just made a hybrid or copied some wrong info or what? I'm going to start chopping on the one with the newer rear deck and make it an Ausf. F2 with the long 7.5cm KwK40L/43 gun. The other I will backdate to an Ausf.C with a 7.5cm KwKL/24 Gun. I'll also replace the ball mount MG with a pistol port. |

This is supposed to be H/L pz4 f2 but there's a few indiscretions on mine aswell,sorry it's not quite finished yet weathering to do. |
