Can't see it on the store. Is there another cheap way of using another TX with the Taigen MFU?

The RC5HL only works for the old 27mhz Heng Long RX18.

What about the GEKO and SERVOE? Will they work with the Taigen MFU?

Since the Taigen system is not proper 2.4ghz hobby grade/protocol - no Geko does not work with the Taigen controller.
Certain programs for sirvoe such as the recoil servo function can be made to work any Heng Long/Taigen MFU as sirvoe uses the pulses sent by the MFU to trigger pre-determined servo actions.
Sirvoe can not be used to control an elevation servo in this case as like for Geko the Taigen is not real hobby 2.4

I'll forgive your noobishness, if you forgive my brashness. OK the simple way to look at it is that ALL RCTA boards now work solely with proper hobby grade R/C systems. Factory systems from Taigen & Heng Long are children's play things - period. If someone is doing this as a hobby then you should use proper hobby grade systems. The best course of action with a Heng Long or Taigen tank is to take the controller/MFU electrics out and factory radio and throw them in the bin as that is where they belong. Oh and the yellow battery put that in the bin too as that thing is seriously dangerous.
Buy a proper hobby grade radio and use proper electronics that connect to proper R/C receivers. That is what ASP/Clark/IBU/El Mod and so on do. Sirvoe & Geko provide extra specialist functions beyond what is standard on the boards above. For example Sirvoe can be set to trigger a twin or dual servo recoil system for flak cannons. It also provides greater control over any servo based recoil system. Geko can provide 2 addition motor control channels for say pan and tilt control of a camera.
Cheers KG
