I've been a bit quiet on the forum for a reason. I've been too busy with some great new boards for you all. I shoud have at least 2 new boards for the next MBRCTC meeting.
The first board is called 'The PotHead' make of it what you will. It is a R/C interface for a digital potentiometer. A what??? I hear you say. Well a potentiometer is that thing you turn to control stuff - like your volume knob. I've always wanted to put all of those knobs on the 9X to good use. Now you can control your Tank Volume right there from your radio... Expected cost will be less than $20.
The second board is hush hush
. If you thought that the MAKO was good..... I will be revealing this new 'Top Secret' board first at the next MBRCTC meet. Reaper, I know you are going to want 2. I've set them aside already for you.Onto other news the newest version of the MAKO has just arrived and the new boards are 1/3 of the size of the first release boards. The Mako itself is now available on request in 3 different versions.
Standard - 5 lives - 5 second relaod time - LED for Cannon
Heavy - 9 lives - 9 second reload time - LED for hit indication
Motor Control - connects to an ATRC to eliminate ALL of those bad HL track movements (recoil, hit and death) No need now to solder ATRC to the RX18 - Solderless install. ATRC at Extra Cost
