As great as the MAKO/RCTABU system is there has been one feature that has not been as integrated as I would like. That feature is motor speed reduction in line with battle damage. The MAMBA board attempted to provide this function however, MAMBA was an additional board that was expensive to produce. So it is not with too much regret that we announce the 'death' of the MAMBA board. However, the MAMBA concept still lives and and motor speed reduction will now become an integrated feature of the new RC2HL v3 and above. There will be no extra board to buy and no extra costs involved. This means that motor speed reduction will now be available as standard for all MAKO2 and RC2HL V3 owners. In essence the MAMBA output of the MAKO2 now connects to an input on the RC2HL. For current owners of the MAKO2 and RC2HL this will involve chip upgrades and a very minor modification to the RC2HL board. The chip upgrade process will be done free of charge. Local customers can email to arrange a time to drop by and have their chips upgraded. Interstate and International customers can return their chips to RCTA along with $2.50 to cover return postage. For further info RC2HL/MAKO2 customers are welcome to contact me. Cheers Kevin G |

Hi Kevin, I have just received my RC2HL, pot head and 9x - thanks for the prompt service. I have downloaded the 9x manual and was wondering if there is a manual / guide for the RC2HL ? Regards, Ian |

HI Ian There is no written material for the RC2HL as all the info is presented as Video on our youtube channel. Basic Install: Additional Features: There really isn't a lot to a RC2HL all the connections are labelled on the board. Only big thing to remember is if connecting to the 8 channel turnigy receiver to swap CH2 and CH3 CH1->In1 CH2->In3 CH3->In2 CH4->In4 Also the jumper above the 3 pin input needs to be in place. If you got a 9X at the same time the RC2HL would of been shipped in the jumper in the correct position. The actual 9X manual would be useless if you got an upgraded 9X. There is no written material for ERX (tankERX) If it was not sent to you via email then here is the info for the upgraded 9X. Upgraded_9X_Info.pdf Though you may need to post a second time to become a full member before you can download. Cheers Kevin G |

Hey Ian One other thing to remember is that both S1 and S1 switch at 5 volts so if you are using S2 for a reverse LED you MUST include a 220 or 330 ohm resistor. S1 is switched by moving the 3 position switch to the down position Cheers KG |
