Hey All Announcing OCTOPUS a new project that should be completed in short time. What is Octopus? Octopus is the RCTA version of Spektrum's Model Match system for use with the Turnigy 9X and either the Turnigy 8 channel or OrangeRX 7 channel and above receivers. Still not too familiar with Model Match. Well basically Octopus will allow you to have 8 tanks. You can turn them all on and they will sit there. You can then select that model on your 9X and turn that tank and ONLY that tank on. If you want to swap to driving another tank you turn off your current tank, select the new tank on you 9X and turn that tank on - simples. Octopus will only work with the 9X or other programmable radio, a tank control system that uses a dedicated channel for turning on/off tank and you have a spare channel for tank identification purposes. At present that means the Taipan system though I think it could work with EL MOd. Octopus will not work with present or past versions of the RC2HL system.
