Ok obivously there is no club publically listed at present. So is anyone in SA interested in getting one started? Here are some issues I identified that need to be solved. 1./ IR only battle arena required. Hopefully some successful business person who's also hooked on this hobby has a spare space in a warehouse somewhere. Otherwise to offset lease expenses a business model will have to be a part of the setup. Have some firm ideas on what that night be, but would prefer not to have to. 2./ members members members needed, so please express your interest. It can not happen without your support. 3./ To cut cost to newbies Heng Long standard minimum with compatibility with Tamiya types and the like. 4./ Although BB capabilities are not necessarily band here in SA. The whole situation is way too murky to base a public operation on at this time. So NO BB allowed at present unless someone with very deep pockets is willing to test any adverse rulling by a authorized officer as defined under the act. in a court of appeal. |
