Hi everyone I just got my first tank 7 months ago panzer iv I have been lurking for months now reading all the posts leering at the pictures of other members' builds and annoying the crap out of Kevin with email questions which he has been a legend in answering. So After purchasing an ASP now pre ordered ASP 2 for my tiger 1 A 9xr pro and doing all the switch and dial mods it's been fun and challenging I have promised myself to get the panzer iv back together before I start to pull apart my tiger 1 that is stock other than full metal tracks wheels etc from supplier But my concern with the panzer iv since cutting out batery box is the amount of flex in the chassis. it also has metal tracks wheels suspension etc so also a lot more weight I'm sure that the flex would be reduced once the upper body is screwed on but also after doing the rear metal hatch mod u loose the 2 rear screw mounts So any suggestions about stiffining up the lower hull and In general would be appreciated Vince |

Hi Vince I'm sure there is a post somewhere on this. What I do is - and lucky for you the PzIV hull requires the least amount of extra work - is to fill the hull with a poly resin. This is standard procedure for me and I'm surprised I can't find a pic right away. I'll post some to give you an idea soon Cheers KG 2016-06-28 10.02.19.jpg 2016-06-28 10.02.55.jpg 2016-06-28 10.03.13.jpg |

Wow Thanks Kevin I have finished the resin base and what a difference it makes, the hull is super stiff now I have also done the mod to the recoil with a servo and your ASP servoe ? Add on thingy. Is it possible to get more travel out of it ( the servo) it works great and there is more mechanical room for the barrel to recoil but the servo isn't throwing a big enough arc. Its not a big problem looks great as it is but if possible, more is always better Thanks Vince |

Hi Vince To extend travel - think mechanical not electrical. Just extend the length of your servo arm. Cheers KG |
