Thanks Kevin, Just a lot of chat about the Mako boards in the UK and a lot complaining about the rapid HL refire and the tank weight class. But sounds like apart from weight class it is an equal battle. Thanks again for the info. Ian. |

Hey Ian Spent the day on the weight class issue. Now it's my turn for bed. Ken also got onto me about having at least a Heavy Tank class so I've come up with a 'Heavy Tank' variant. How it works is exactly as I suggested. Every second hit is recorded but no information is sent to the RX18. Because of this there is no explosion sound for every second hit. However, the MAKO LED flashes to indicate that a hit has been received. If you combine with a ATRC MKII then the tank will be immobilised as well once hit. I have setup up a little Panzer III as a 'Heavy Tank' complete with a MAKO, ATRC MK II and my servo recoil mod for tomorrows MBRCTC meet. If all these boards can fit in a HL Pz III then they will be no problems for any of the bigger ones. Cheers Kevin G |

Here's a few pictures I managed to take once the rain/snow showers buggered off. No laughing at the two tone paint scheme, i'm going for an 80's XR3i look, sorry I mean it's paint in progress as I've ran out and need to get some more. Ian |

Cheers Gra, Not thought about the night covers for the headlights. To be honest spent so much time upgrading, breaking, repairing this Tiger I think I'll just finish painting and weathering it and leave it there to give me some time on other tanks. I've a load of bits left over from my HL KV1 so thinking of scratch building a IS3 tank. Plus I've a T34 screaming for upgrading. Ian. |

Been a while since I posted any thing on my Tiger, not really been doing much apart some more painting, markings and light weathering. Unfortinatley with all the rain recently not had chance to take pictures, but luckily today the weather picked up and I also received my guard post from a member in Sweden so I jumped out with all bits and a camera to get some picturs, so here you go. Heres the guard post and barrier Ian. |

Hi Gra, The barrels I made myself I did a tutorial on RCTW but cannot find it now. Basically get three used plastic tea light, remove remaining wax and wick, rough up edges with a file, then super glue them together and paint. They slightly too big for 1/16 but for a simple build it is great. Ian. |
