Hi there,

I'm really hoping for someone to help me (yes haha, moving out of nz would help groan) but I'm looking for a set of 4 IR battle tanks and need advice as to the best way to go. I don't want to spend heaps as we're not sure if it will take off, but all 4 tanks need to battle at the same time. After trolling the web, it seems to come down to two options - the VSX Tank 1/72 - which isn't cheap - or the Heng Long 1/24.

Any advice or links or ANYTHING would be greatly appreciated. If there is a NZ contact you're aware of, please let them know my name or similar.

If everything goes well, we'll definitely be upgrading to 1/16 (they are very very cool) but need a starting point.

Thanks in advance,
ototw.

Hi ototw,
Welcome to the forum, big question and not sure how to answer mainly because I've only been with 1/16. If you don't want to pour in heaps of $ 1/16 might be the go, I know nothing of the HL 1/24 scale and the other is fairly expensive to experiment with then if you like pay again to get 1/16.
Also HL IR isn't compatible with other brands hence we upgrade our electronics so all the various brands of IR can play together.

Best probably to buy 2 Heng Long 1/16 scale IR tanks and see how you go with that.
They are great fun to play with

Sorry for the fuzzy response

Cheers
Gra :)
