G-day

Im new to RC tanking but finding it very enjoyable.
Im wondering if there are any clubs towards the mornington peninsula, and when their next set of events are.
I have a Tiger 1 full metal that still requries some assembly. Road wheels giving me some issues. Along with the electronics.
I also Have a Panther thats running pretty well. Other than the tracks that keep shreading themselves. Any tips on how to stop that?
I have alot to learn.
Thanks.
Best Regards
Matthew.

Hi Panzerkamph
Welcome to RCTA mate, and welcome to the great RC Tank hobby :D

Is the Tiger 1 the Mato metal one ? I'm very interested in these metal tanks
Post some pics as its easier to help out when we can see what problems you are having.

The Panther tracks coming off usually means the idler is out of alignment or very wobbly, are they plastic tracks ? Again pics (we like lots of pics)

There is a tank club in Vic

Mainly bigger scale, good bunch of fellows that will help you out

Any more questions just ask Mathew, happy to help out

Cheers
Gra :)

Ill get the pics up soon.
But yeah the Tiger is the full metal Mato. I know the issue with it Im missing the suspension bar and screw. That should improve the situation. But its just been a long and painful build. Not knowing to much about what I am doing.
The Pather is full plastic. But I shall have to look at the wheel alignment. Ill get the pics up soon. Its just been quite temprmental.
I forgot to mention all my stuff is 1/16th scale.

Thanks for the link to the VLSTC.

I look forward to getting some feedback on my tanks and getting to know the group.

Matthew.

Hi Matthew,

Welcome to the forum. Like Gra says tracks coming off is normal misalaignment of the road wheels and or idle wheel. Problem with the plastic stuff is it just has too much play so if you can tighten it up it make all the difference.

Looking forward to seeing the mato tiger.

Ian.
