A Big Hello RCTA, I'm from Bucks County, Sellersville, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.!!! First, a brief background of my interest ... I have owned 6 VSTank Pro IR 1/24 scale battle tanks from 2007, & just recently decided I would have a go at creating my own local RC Tank club called Bucks Armored Division and Strategic Simulations, a.k.a my forum name B.A.D.A.S.S. Force! I really wanted to grow a 1/24 scale club, but have found that Toy East's direction for their VSTank line in the future will not be quite what I'm looking for in better IR battling & experiences, so I decided to move up to the 1/16 scale tanks which offer more options, by purchasing my first 2 Heng Long Super IR version tanks, a Panther G & a KV-1. Since the stock HL electronics are about as limited as the VSTank & not what I'm ultimately looking to stay with, I have begun searching high & low for alternative battle units because I will be very interested in upgrading my RC tank electronics some time later this year. I have been looking into ElMod, SLU, DBU, IBU, & especially following the rcTABU Mako project with great interest, so I decided to join RCTankAustralia for that reason. ~ Craig ~ |

Hi Craig Welcome to the RCTA I have only HL tanks and they are great, alot of modding and repairs I run El mod in 3 of them but no battle system yet (soon) so apcan not help at the moment with IR You will have to post some pics of your tanks Cheers Gra
