IMG_0373.jpgIMG_0373.jpgIMG_0373.jpgHi all First of all im new here so gday to all I have some how gotten in to this hobby and this if my first project. I have alwase wanted to do an RC amphibious something. So i looked around at what i could do and desided on a DUKW not a tank i know but never the less cool for my next one im looking a a LVT. Due to in my ( in my GF opinion stubbornness ) i insited on do it 1/19 scale. Not relising at the time that that would mean scratch building all the fine detail parts how ever there were no kits bigger than 1/35 so i would be starting from scratch any how. so i went out and i got the air fix 1/76 model and took meserment timesing it all my 76 then deviding it by 19 and hand dawring on a grided pace of papper plans and parts i would need to construct. For construction i gave my self the peramiters that to be ture sractch built it should be relatively cheap and made from parts that are redaly available. For this reson i desided that bottom of the hull/chaise should be solid timber and sides and devides should be MDF.
