added a few pics then found newibes have to be appoved can admin please cut and past this to the end of my other post or ill do it in due corse now where was i In the 20mm thick pece of tas oak that was going to be the bottom i cut out a place for the tamyia 4x4 kit to go as well as routed out a place for the radio speed contols servo ect to goIMG_0142.jpg i then set about cutting the mdf deviders and cutting out the wheel arches IMG_0376.jpg and then the sides IMG_0378.jpg what it looked like affter the first week end IMG_0378.jpg and with the sides on wheel arches done and a spot routed for the motor IMG_0378.jpg the motor i went for a 330 2 sizes up from what the tamiya 4x4 kit was ment to have i chose this because with the larger wheels and i think with all the waght im adding the 130 would struggle plus the bateries when i desided on what to run will need to run the maine drive 330 the proppeler drive 230 the front 130 the radio and one servo and a speed control. any idears for what to power it with would be appersated. the front i guled 8 peces of 20mm pine and carved it in to shape and with to wooden runner along the top of the side i screwed it all in to place. For the back and the prop tunel i had a big cardbord roll sitting out in my shed so epoxied it to a pece of mdf and epoxied it in to place |
