G'Day All I'm happy to be part of this forum. I have a 1/16 M1A2 Abrams Tank from Hobby Engine which I brought in 2009 and converted it (mostly to a M1A1 of the Royal Australian Armoured Regiment, including markings from their arrival in the Australian Army in 2007. I thought you'd like to see some pics of her (named Chauvel after General Sir Henry George Chauvel GCMG, KCB, Commander of Australian Forces at the Battle of Beersheba in 1917) as the conversion was completed and markings applied in 2009. As you can see I added a couple extra markings, but I feel they added to the overall feel of the unit. Enjoy Battlestar (This was the only part of the tank I did not modify to M1A1 standard) |

Welcome to RCTA Battlestar, Abrams looks good, good to see the red kangaroo getting around now. Did you do any mods to the inside electrics wise or still stock? You can get proper plastic link tracks now to replace the rubber band type track cause they will crack and fall apart after a while. Cheers Gra

Hi Battlestar, Mate I am in WA and was keen to start up some IR battling (have not been able to find a group yet), nice work on the Abram. I have some experience with electrics if you were thinking of conversions. Regards Lee |
